Our usefulness in the Lord’s hands altogether depends on the price we’re willing to pay. If we pay a big price, our usefulness will be great; if we pay a small price, our usefulness will be limited.
Apart from the price that Jesus paid, we also must be ready to pay the price. The Bible contains numerous examples of people who paid the price for a desired change or outcome.
In Genesis 39, for instance, the lesson for us here is that with the help of God, we can overcome any challenge on our path to purpose. The same God that was with Joseph is still our God and He is ready to help us if we depend on Him.
